Sailmate is a free and social mobile application for boaters.

Sailmate is offering below features to sailors:

  • include a worldwide nautical database with all harbours, buoys, beacons, lights. Next release will include hydrographic data. Nautical data is updated regularly free of charge
  • offer free download of cartographic data for supported countries. Sailmate will display on top of cartographic data nautical information
  • will soon provide free access to official nautical charts in numerous countries.
  • give instant access to weather data, harbour information and when possible harbour charts
  • allows boaters to rate harbours and associated businesses, and share useful information with the community
  • record performed trips and allow to review later sailed paths or share them with friends
  • offers numerous social features allowing boaters to exchange together and share useful information

All Sailmate features are enabled and available free of charge. The only paying options are the download of optional commercial nautical charts authorized for navigation use.
